The head of Crimea, Sergei Aksenov, announced this at a press conference today.
“What restrictions could there be for any large Russian company, be it state-owned or private. If Crimea is a Russian region, what excuse could anyone have? I am surprised. The region is recognized, fully within the legislative framework, you need to make a strong-willed decision and enter,” Aksenov said.
At the same time, he admitted that he does not know all the nuances associated with the capitalization of large Russian banks abroad.
“This is a delicate issue that cannot always be discussed very frankly; there are certain nuances associated with the large capitalization of these institutions abroad. I can give an assessment of this situation without being immersed in detail in the processes that occur with foreign property. I am confident that the country’s top leadership is aware of this situation and will make the right decision,” Aksenov said.
