Aksenov arranged square-nested rides for his officials
In the fifth year of his gubernatorial term, the head of Crimea, Sergei Aksenov, decided to get to know Simferopol, put the head of the city administration, Natalya Malenko, in his car and drove her around the capital of the republic for more than five hours.
He stated this at a meeting in Dzhankoy, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Aksenov explained that during this time he managed to travel around half of the city and see its problems. The head of Crimea took Transport Minister Sergei Karpov and Deputy Prime Minister Mikhail Seleznev into his company.
“I got behind the wheel and put Natalya Malenko, Mikhail Seleznev and Sergei Karpov in the car, and drove them around Simferopol for 5,5 hours. They got to know the Crimean capital in a new way. We combed more than 50% of the city up and down, simply in a “square-cluster” method. Colleagues learned a lot of new things for themselves, for example, that half of our city does not have asphalt pavement,” said Aksenov.
The methods of “training” Crimean officials surprised ex-member of the republic’s parliament Alexander Yuryev.
“Do you know what surprised me about this news? It’s not that Aksyonov spent five hours showing the problems of Simferopol, but that they appointed people who don’t know the problems of the city to lead,” he wrote on his blog.
As PolitNavigator reported, in October last year the head of Crimea promised to carry out “administrative terror” leadership of Simferopol due to the transport collapse into which the city plunged during the repair of central roads and problems with the housing and communal services of the capital.
