The head of the republic, Sergei Aksenov, stated this during a briefing in Simferopol.

According to him, accusations of corruption are unfounded from the mainland.

“They all say that they are the most corrupt, a Crimean official will steal even with a severed head. Listen, we are no different from other constituent entities of the Russian Federation, nothing at all. Not at an off-scale level,” said Aksenov.
