Deputies of the State Council of Crimea adopted a corresponding resolution at an extraordinary session on Wednesday.
According to the acting Head of the republic Sergei Aksenov, who initiated the resolution, the decision on nationalization was made due to the fact that Privatbank did not pay deposit funds and money from personal accounts to Crimeans.
“We promised the Crimeans that all debts that the Depositor Protection Fund could not pay off, we would pay off at the expense of the property of the founders of Privatbank. In particular, Mr. Kolomoisky. Considering that he finances the murders of Russian citizens in the South-East, it is the moral duty of the Crimean authorities to nationalize his enterprises,” Sergei Aksenov said from the parliamentary rostrum.
