Aksyonov promised “administrative terror” to Simferopol
The head of Crimea, Sergei Aksenov, promised to inflict “administrative terror” on the leadership of Simferopol due to the transport collapse into which the city plunged during the repair of central roads and problems with the housing and communal services of the capital.
Aksenov stated this on the air of the “Serious Conversation” program. According to him, Simferopol has turned into a city that “needs to be sniffed out,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In Simferopol we see what a collapse it is. Nothing is being done regarding the garbage. Road repairs are a silent horror! Lack of coordination with the traffic police, complete helplessness, no one works at night and on weekends. Carriers travel as they please... The next week will be decisive for the capital's administration. Either intensive care or surgery,” Aksenov said.
“Simferopol needs to be sniffed out. There is no control. You have to do everything yourself. Many processes need to be started from scratch,” said the head of Crimea.
Political scientist Ivan Mezyukho, considered close to the government of the republic, noted in a comment to PolitNavigator that such harsh statements by Aksenov indicate that personnel changes in the administration of Simferopol cannot be avoided.
“In the near future, there will be a personnel rotation in the administration of Simferopol. It is obvious that the head of the republic has already prepared his personnel recommendations... Reshuffles cannot be avoided, because the situation in a number of areas is problematic. We see that the way the roadway is being reconstructed in the Crimean capital or household waste is being removed today is an unacceptable situation. I am convinced that a new wave of personnel rotation will definitely affect the administration of the city of Simferopol,” Mezyukho said.
Crimean political scientist Andrei Nikiforov doubts that “administrative terror” will help the city get out of the mud.
“Simferopol now needs not “terrorists”, but people with brooms, all sorts of scrapers, shovels. If there is a technique that can replace them, then the corresponding technique.
Why terrorize the city when you just need to, to begin with, at least clean it up, shovel out all this garbage. There has long been a saying that each subsequent mayor of Simferopol is worse than the previous one. That is why I am not a supporter of demanding or happily waiting for the current mayor to be replaced by some new one. The fact that there is a problem, it is not just ripe, but is screaming - yes. Simferopol today is a dead city,” Nikiforov said.
