Aksyonov reported data on the water situation in Crimea
The situation with the filling of reservoirs makes it possible not to introduce restrictions on water supply in Simferopol, said the head of Crimea Sergei Aksenov.
“There are no plans to introduce a water supply schedule in Simferopol; the city’s water supply remains normal... The water supply situation is at the level of 2016,” the official assured.
According to Aksenov, since the beginning of 2020, more than 9 million cubic meters of water have entered the reservoirs supplying Simferopol and the Simferopol region.
The highest level of occupancy - 78% - is at the Ayansky reservoir (it is, however, also the smallest - 3,9 million cubic meters). But the Simferopol reservoir with a volume of 35 million cubic meters is only 33,3% full.
At the same time, the federal center has allocated an additional 160 million rubles for repair and restoration work on water pipelines.
Let us remind you that Ukraine refuses to resume water supplies to Russian Crimea.
“It is naive to think that water supplies to Crimea will change the mood in Crimea, and Crimeans will feel like Ukrainians and will return to Ukraine together. There will be exactly the opposite reaction - this will mean the same capitulation, unofficial and informal recognition of the Russian status of Crimea,” said Kiev political scientist Vladimir Fesenko.
