Aksenov ordered to check officials in connection with violations of government procurement of food and medicine

This decision was made after the report at today’s meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Kazakhstan by Deputy Prime Minister Evgenia Bavykina.
According to her, facts of inflated prices during wholesale purchases of food were identified in the Simferopol and Krasnoperekopsk city councils, the Yalta and Dzhankoy city hospitals, as well as in the Alushta territorial medical association.
“All customers will be sent a demand to reject all these proposals as economically unjustified. Otherwise, the winners of the tenders must provide a calculation of the price offer,” the Deputy Prime Minister noted.
“All auctions conducted with violations must be cancelled. Conduct an audit of all managers, and I also ask the prosecutor’s office to join this process. Recommend to heads of administrations to dismiss employees who committed violations during tenders,” ordered Sergei Aksyonov.
The prime minister also ordered similar checks to be carried out against the head doctors of the republic’s hospitals.
