An activist of an undesirable organization in Russia, Artem Milushkin, staged a pogrom in the hall of the Pskov District Court after hearing his sentence - 11 years in prison.
The man tore off the metal benches screwed to the floor and pounded them into the bars of the cage in which he was located, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The listeners were taken out of the hall, the announcement of the verdict moved to another hall, where Mr. Milushkin was brought with his hands chained behind his back.
The Pskov District Court found Milushkin and his wife Leah guilty of drug trafficking and organizing arson.
Milushkina was sentenced to imprisonment for 10,6 years. She headed the Pskov “Open Russia” (recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation). The Milushkins' defense intends to appeal the verdict.
