“When on one of the Russian TV channels the presenter, probably thinking that he was doing me a great honor, called me the leading Russian actress. I corrected him, saying that I had always been a Ukrainian actress, sometimes worked in Russia. He could not agree with this, he simply did not take such a statement seriously, and I stopped recording and left the studio. By the way, at all meetings with Russian spectators, I always noted that I was a Ukrainian actress, to which they usually said: “Come on, you’re ours!” How am I yours?! “- said Rogovtseva.
