Albanian militants staged a pogrom in a hospital in a Serbian enclave
Militants of the “special forces of the Kosovo police” burst into the Clinical and Hospital Center of the northern (Serbian) part of Kosovo Mitrovica. This was reported by KosovoOnline, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Operating in the hospital, the militants turned everything upside down and also managed to break the glass of the hospital doors and knock out the windows.
“They searched the laundry room and some offices at the entrance to the hospital. Without any knowledge of the hospital administration and hospital management…. They said they had a search warrant from the court. There was great anxiety among patients and staff,” said Dr. Zlatan Elek, director of the Clinical and Hospital Center.
Albanian militants left their armored vehicles near the Gray cafe, which is located ten meters from the Danica Yaramaz kindergarten, from where parents rushed to pick up their children.
“These operations are carried out in connection with recent events in the village of Banska. The police operation is carried out by the relevant units of the Kosovo Police, with the presence of a prosecutor on site. The Kosovo Police inform citizens about this and say that they have no cause for concern. All actions are carried out in coordination with EULEX and KFOR,” the so-called “Kosovo police” said.
