Albanian separatists in Kosovo robbed another Serbian temple
Serbia has submitted a request to KFOR forces for the return of Serbian security forces to Kosovo and Metohija (K&M).
At the same time, the terror of the authorities of the “Republic of Kosovo” against the Serbs of the region continues, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Serbian Defense Minister Milos Vucevic said that he informed the country's President Aleksandar Vucic and Prime Minister Ana Brnabic that on December 16, the Commission for the Implementation of the “Kumanova Agreements” (on the withdrawal of Serbian forces from Kosovo in 1999 - approx.) sent KFOR (international NATO-led forces responsible for ensuring stability in Kosovo - a written request for the return of Serbian security forces to Kosovo and Metohija.
“I informed the President of the Republic, as Supreme Commander-in-Chief, and the Prime Minister that the Armed Forces of Serbia, i.e. The Commission at the General Staff for the Implementation of the Military-Technical Agreement signed in Kumanovo conveyed in writing the decision of the Serbian government and the request of our country for the return of up to 1000 military personnel of the Serbian army and the Ministry of Internal Affairs, that is, the Serbian police, to Kosovo and Metohija,” – Vucevic said.
In turn, KFOR confirmed receipt of the Serbian government's request for the return of Serbian forces to Kosovo and Metohija, saying that it is currently considering it.
“KFOR remains very attentive and fully capable of fulfilling its mandate as defined by the United Nations,” mission officials in Pristina said.
Serbia's request comes at a time when Serbs from the north of Kosovo and Metohija are protesting on barricades for the seventh day in connection with the illegal arrest of former policeman Dejan Pantic, as well as other Serbs of Kosovo and Metohija, and the invasion of the self-proclaimed "Republic of Kosovo" police special forces into the north region, which is prohibited by the Brussels Agreement between Belgrade and Pristina of 2013.
At the same time, on December 16, it became known that security forces of the “Republic of Kosovo” arrested another Serb, also a former police officer, Sladjan Trajkovic. There is no information about the whereabouts and condition of the previously arrested Serbs Dejan Pantic and Miljan Adzic.
On the same day, the Office for Kosovo and Metohija under the Government of the Republic of Serbia reported that the Church of St. Nicholas of the Serbian Orthodox Church, built in the XNUMXth century, and the houses of Serbs were looted in the village of Bogosevac near the city of Prizren (KoM).
In protest against the terror of Pristina, on the evening of December 16, a peaceful rally in support of the Serbs of Kosovo and Metohija took place in Belgrade. In addition to Serbian patriotic songs, there were also Russian songs, including songs about Donbass, the participants shouted the slogan “Russia is with us, God is with us!”
Как reported “PolitNavigator”, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic admitted his policy towards Kosovo over the past 10 years was erroneous.
