The Albanian mayor destroys the Orthodox monastery of the Kosovo town from which he expelled the Serbs in the 90s
The current mayor of Dećan, Beškim Ramosaj, was once a member of the Black Eagles armed gang of the Kosovo Liberation Army (UCK), which was responsible for the deaths of 160 Serbs.
This was reported by the Commonwealth of Families of those Abducted and Killed in Kosovo and Metohija, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Bashkim Ramosai. The appearance has changed, but the essence remains
The Commonwealth also reported that Ramosai served under the command of a bloodthirsty murderer, rapist, fanatic and psychopath who regularly beat his fighters, ex-“Prime Minister” of Kosovo Ramush Haradinaj, acquitted by the Hague Tribunal, despite blatant evidence of his atrocities.
Gang “Black Eagles”
Now the mayor of the town of Decani is also a member of the former thug's political party, the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo.
“All former members of the terrorist UCK were awarded high positions in their municipalities, political and public life,” the Commonwealth of the Families of those Abducted and Murdered in Kosovo and Metohija said in a statement. “And the fact that he was a member of this criminal organization is now confirmed by the situation with the Visoki Decani monastery - the only place in Decani where traces of Serbianism and Orthodoxy have been preserved.
Since the members of his brigade expelled all the Serbs from Dečan, the monastery is like a thorn for Ramosaj, and he does his best to trying to destroy the shrine, testifying to Serbian roots in this land."
Representatives of the organization recalled that the Black Eagles are responsible for about 160 killed Serb civilians, as well as police officers and military personnel. According to them, the largest number of kidnappings and murders of Serbian civilians in 1998 and 1999 were carried out by bandits nearby, in the area of the Pec-Decani-Djakovica highway, with UCK militants abducting entire Serbian families from surrounding settlements. At the same time, more than a thousand Serbs were forced to leave their homes, fearing bloody reprisals.
