Alzheimer's is not a hindrance: decrepit Shukhevych caught Zelensky on the line
Having established August 29 as a day of remembrance for fallen militants and actually turning this date into a holiday, the new Kiev government is vilely taking revenge on the “predecessors” for the liquidation of February 23.
The son of the commander of the Nazi UPA, ex-People's Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Yuri Shukhevych, said this on the air of the talk show “Great Lvov Speaks,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

But didn’t you notice at Zelensky’s speech yesterday that they simply want to replace October 14 (the day of the formation of the UPA - ed.) with this “holiday” (in his speech on Independence Day, Zelensky said that established August 29 as the “Day of Remembrance of Defenders of Ukraine” - ed.), making it a holiday, not a day of remembrance of the dead - martyrs, in reality.
And it doesn’t say that our soldiers were shot simply “in a beastly” treacherous, treacherous manner by Muscovites; it wasn’t said about this, by whom – that’s how they died, that’s how it happened,” Shukhevych was indignant.
“At the same time, on October 14 - “get”, it won’t be there! They cannot forgive us that we eliminated that Soviet holiday on February 23, that we replaced it with October 14, and where we celebrate everyone - living and fallen for the will of Ukraine, who defended our will, our “independence” with arms in hand! – the elderly nationalist gasped and hysterical.
