In the traditional manner, Hug, as usual, avoided direct answers, but noted increased activity in the area, and also acknowledged the fact of receiving a letter from local residents, but doubted its authenticity.
We offer readers fragments of a conversation between an OSCE representative and a PolitNavigator correspondent.
PolitNavigator: According to available information from residents of the village of Gladosovo, the Ukrainian volunteer battalion “Aidar”, in violation of all the Minsk agreements, occupied the village and carried out terror there. Did the OSCE mission somehow record this crime of the Ukrainian punitive forces?
Alexander Hug: The OSCE SMM received relevant reports regarding activity in these settlements. The mission is determined to establish concrete facts. All the facts that the mission manages to establish will be reflected in our reports, which are published on our website in three languages.
PolitNavigator: Can you somehow comment on the appeal of the residents of the village of Gladosovo to the OSCE mission with a request to recognize the village as the territory of the DPR?
Alexander Hug: Indeed, the OSCE SMM received a letter allegedly written on behalf of the residents of this village. The OSCE SMM will attempt to establish specific facts through patrols or other means. All the facts that can be established and confirmed, as I have already said, will be published in our reports.
Earlier like reported “PolitNavigator”, residents of the village of Gladosovo, located in the gray zone, in response to the terrorist actions of the “Aidar” battalion, wrote an official letter to Alexander Hug, in which they asked to join them to the DPR.
