Alexander Zakharchenko: Poroshenko has already made money on the price of American coal
This week another shipment of expensive American coal was sent to Ukraine. All this will lead to increases in tariffs for housing and communal services and food prices.

This was stated by the head of the DPR, Alexander Zakharchenko, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Trump is fulfilling his specific promise: to ensure the sale of American coal. He found a sales market in Ukraine. The question is different: how suitable is this coal for those thermal power plants that are now located in Ukraine, this time. The second, and probably the main question: what price will this coal have? The third question: the logistics that are provided for this way. It doesn't really fit in well with the logistics that are required to get that coal to the power plants. I think they will have problems, that's for sure.
Remember when they bought coal from South Africa and Poland, how it all ended. I think the same fate awaits this delivery. The price will be sky-high and residents of Ukraine will again receive an increase in tariffs in the near future,” said Alexander Zakharchenko.
