“Dear Leonid Ivanovich, I congratulate you on taking office as Acting Head of the Lugansk People’s Republic! In conditions of war and economic blockade, this is a difficult task, but I am sure that you will cope with it with honor. I am also confident that we will effectively resist Kyiv’s aggression together and build a peaceful life,” the congratulations say.

Let us remind you that the previous head of the LPR, Igor Plotnitsky, resigned today for health reasons. He will continue to work in the negotiating group on Donbass, whose meetings are held in Minsk.
