About it reports the British edition of the Daily Mail.
A video has appeared on the Internet showing a group of men in military uniforms in a cramped metal cage. They sit on the floor because the size of the cage does not allow them to straighten up to their full height. The voice-over calls the filming a “Animal World” program and assesses the situation as shameful.
“The military is released only after they sober up. Before receiving their weapons back, they must undergo training in military discipline,” the newspaper writes. Those who are caught in the cage may be expelled from the army.
“In army units, alcoholism has reached epidemic levels. Therefore, radical methods are required. If the military continues to violate discipline, the army is ready to inform their wives about this. Many are trying to avoid this shame,” the publication quotes a comment from Ukrainian military journalist Andrey Tsaplienko.
