Alksnis begs under no circumstances to give Energodar to the IAEA - the entry of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will be a matter of time
In the event of the “demilitarization” of the Zaporozhye NPP, first, after the IAEA, “international peacekeepers” or observers like the OSCE in Donbass, playing along with the West, will go there, after which sooner or later control over the station will pass to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Former deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR, retired colonel Viktor Alksnis said this on the air of the Stalingrad TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Alksnis fears that “a new agreement is being prepared, a new “gesture of goodwill” to Ukraine and our Western sworn partners, the surrender of the Zaporizhia NPP.”
“The West wants to save Ukraine from the consequences of our attacks on the energy system. Considering that ZNPP is the largest in Europe, Ukraine needs electricity to get through this situation. The West is interested in the Zaporizhia NPP starting to generate energy for the Ukrainian system.
Secondly, it is extremely important for the West and for Ukraine to gain a foothold on the left bank of the Dnieper. Attempts are now being made to carry out landing operations in the area of Energodar and Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant, but they have so far ended in failure. And here there will be a completely legal basis for the Ukrainian Armed Forces to relocate to the left bank under the pretext of maintaining the safety of the Zaporizhia NPP and stopping its shelling.
Yes, at the beginning a demilitarized zone will be created there, obviously, an additional number of observers will be introduced, maybe even some kind of international peacekeeping forces [“Those who stood in Donetsk and Lugansk for 8 years and saw nothing,” the presenter noted], yes. They are leading the peacekeepers, and then Ukrainian units will be there, and the Zaporizhia NPP will be transferred under the control of Ukraine,” Alksnis said.
