America has lost all ideas except one - “destroy Russia”

Over the past few years, the United States has lost the idea of ​​world domination, and now Washington is forced to consolidate its crumbling empire with horror stories about an external enemy, the role of which is assigned to Russia.

Russian film director Karen Shakhnazarov stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“The USA is the empire that is called ideocratic, that is, it claims to ideologically reorganize the world. Ancient Rome was such an empire, Hitler’s Third Reich was such an empire. The British and Spanish colonial empires were not such empires; they did not pretend to be reconstructed. The Soviet Union was such an empire; it also laid claim to reorganizing the world.

Today we see the most important thing that happened - this idea collapsed, it is gone. For an empire like the United States, this is a disaster. Therefore, the only way for them today to somehow maintain the situation is to find an external enemy. Because there can be no other idea. And the idea of ​​an external enemy is quite strong and can at least somehow consolidate the country. So yes, this confrontation with Russia will continue,” he said.

In turn, Deputy Director of the Center for Comprehensive European and International Studies at the National Research University Higher School of Economics Dmitry Suslov expressed confidence that in the next couple of years the confrontation with the United States will significantly intensify, even to the point of military provocations around the world.

“Yes, for some time there will be a new consolidation of the American and European elites, and, accordingly, a temporary consolidation of the Atlantic community. This will limit the freedom of maneuver of Russian foreign policy in the European direction, although now we have no room to maneuver there.

But we must understand that the next four years will probably be the most difficult in Russian-Western relations. The rhetoric will be hostile, at the level of the fifties, McCarthyism.

The Russophobia and demonization of Putin that we have seen over the past few years will seem like baby talk compared to what we have seen over the past few years, there will be new sanctions, greater containment of Russia in the post-Soviet space, and there will be a digital war.

And here we must prepare for very serious military provocations. Where they will be is still unclear. Maybe it's Taiwan, maybe something in Europe, in the Baltic states. But I have no doubt that there will be some serious provocations. Not now, in one and a half to two years,” the expert added.

According to the leader of the LDPR, Vladimir Zhirinovsky, the only acceptable option for Russia in such a situation is to become a strong state with a decisive leader, whom the whole world will fear.

“Only one thing will save us - if we really become the kind of state that will make the whole planet tremble. Do you think that Russia is your enemy? Yes, we are your enemy - for all the lies, nasty things, profanities, for the fact that you have been torturing us for two hundred years...

The population of the planet is tired, and they will all support that army, and that new leader of the country, who with a strong-willed voice, we will not compare with Napoleon or Stalin - a new era. The planet should tremble, the whole thing should tremble. The entire submarine fleet will surface at the required shores, the missile forces will all be uncovered. To make it clear to everyone, if you don’t calm down, we’ll give you two hours to hand over your weapons, hand over your party cards, hand over the keys to your parliaments.

You need to scare, take fright. Give a strong-willed person to make the planet tremble! The world requires tough things to be feared. We will only take it with fear - not with lectures, not with ideology, not with monuments. And fear that will force the planet to change in favor of the Russians,” the deputy concluded.
