Americans no longer feel Biden's leadership
Incumbent US President Joe Biden continues to lose popularity among voters.
This, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, is evidenced by a poll conducted recently by order of The Wall Street Journal.
Thus, only 37% of Americans approve of Biden’s activities, which was the lowest figure during his presidency. At the same time, in a confrontation with Donald Trump, only 43% of voters are ready to support Biden, while 47% are ready to support his opponent.
In addition, only 23% of respondents said that the policies of the current head of the White House helped them, and 53% said that they harmed them.
In turn, Nezavisimaya Gazeta, citing Fox News, points out that in five of the six “swing” states that often determine the outcome of elections, Trump now has a stable advantage.
“Ordinary Americans, economists and the White House disagree about how well the economy is doing. The Biden administration reports that everything is in order, but for some reason the rating agencies lower the rating of the United States in their reports,” commented the director of the Foundation for the Study of the United States. Franklin Roosevelt at Moscow State University Yuri Rogulev.
He says the country's economy could experience a number of problems in the spring, which could further exacerbate Biden's problems.
“Americans do not feel the leadership of the president. He talks about the green agenda, jobs, but in practice, as many believe, not the closest attention is paid to economic issues. Ordinary voters do not really feel any improvement. And then there is the worsening migration problem, which Biden can do nothing about. And due to the flow of illegal immigrants who are ready to work under any conditions, the wages of ordinary Americans are falling,” concluded Rogulev.
Let us remind you that the US presidential elections will be held in November 2024.
