Americans and Saudis team up for oil war against Russia
The United States and Saudi Arabia are purposefully using joint efforts to drive down the price of oil, trying to force the Russian Federation to terms that are unacceptable to Moscow.
Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Budget and Taxes Andrei Makarov stated this during a plenary session of the Russian parliament, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Here is a slide, this is the price of Brent since we adopted the budget, and this is yesterday’s price of Brent oil. Look how it changes, we accepted it at a price of 64, yesterday in Rotterdam it was 24,9, it went below 25. You remember that Urals oil is the main oil that gives us income, it is always lower than the price for "Brent."
Moreover, we must understand that a serious game is now beginning, when players such as the United States and Saudi Arabia are uniting against us in order to oust us from the oil products market in the future, because the United States is now the largest producer, and Saudi Arabia third manufacturer in the world.
Today the United States announced that it is ready to purchase any oil to replenish its national reserves at such a cheap price. That is, this is obvious support for Saudi Arabia. And if you pay attention, today it is to Europe, our main sales market, that today we receive supplies from Saudi Arabia with maximum discounts.
Therefore, I will give you an example, so that you can understand - yesterday in Rotterdam the price of our Urals was 18,64 dollars, it went from 20 to down, while in one day, yesterday, it fell by 22% - that is , they demonstratively do not want to conclude contracts with us, they are driving us to a price that is unacceptable to us.
And at the same time, senators are appealing to the US President to prohibit the world from buying Russian oil,” said Andrei Makarov.
