The Americans “dumped” Yatsenyuk, his party is on the verge of collapse
The rating of the Popular Front has fallen, the party itself no longer has the same unity, and Yatsenyuk has not received the support from the Americans that he expected. Political scientist Kost Bondarenko stated this on UKRLIFE.TV.

“Taking into account the drop in the rating of the Popular Front from 23% in the elections last year to 2,5-3% now (according to sociologists), we can say that today the Popular Front as such does not exist as a political party that can claim something, win, etc. Perhaps in some areas, he will still be able to gain something, for example, in Chernivtsi, where the position of Yatsenyuk and his team is strong, in Zhitomir, where the position of Pashinsky and his team is strong. He can form factions in certain areas. But this is not a victory on an all-Ukrainian scale.
In addition, relations within the Popular Front itself worsened. Today there is no longer a single team there. Recently Yatsenyuk made a statement regarding the events in Mukachevo, which can be interpreted as an attack against Avakov. He said that he does not see the fault of the Right Sector in these events. This means that the blame lies with Avakov’s department.
Now there is no single line, there are sporadic actions by Turchinov separately, Avakov separately, and Yatsenyuk separately. There is no team play.
I can agree with Yuriy Lutsenko’s opinion that the Popular Front can go to the elections together with the Petro Poroshenko Bloc, but not as a single force, but as individuals who will be incorporated into the general process.
In this situation, in a behind-the-scenes struggle, the president defeated the prime minister, who miscalculated his strength and faced hardware games in which he was not strong. He hoped that there would be a lot of external support for his activities, but it is obvious that the United States decided that it had its own problems that needed to be dealt with, and Ukraine would handle it itself. Therefore, Yatsenyuk found himself without the support he was counting on,” says the political scientist.
