The Americans began a purge of Azov on social networks
The American social network Facebook persecuted supporters of the neo-Nazi unit Azov, banned in Russia.
An employee of the Ukrainian Institute of National Remembrance, ATO militant Roman Kulik said this on air on the Skrypin Internet channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Kulik, this is due to the fact that in the United States Azov is also classified as a neo-Nazi organization.
Facebook bans both for the symbols of “Azov”, the official symbols of “Azov”, and also bans simply for mentioning the unit as such. This happens sporadically, not for everyone, but for me, for example, Facebook banned my personal page twice, and recently we had a very idiotic and shitty situation when on the page of the Ukrainian Institute of National Remembrance we had a section for many years where we we remembered, made posters with all those who died, the circumstances of death, dates of birth - this was the section that we ran for many years.
And about four or five months ago, we received what seemed like twenty notifications from Facebook at once, with an interval of a few seconds each, and Facebook deleted all these messages, and banned our page, in fact completely deleted it for a while her. Then this page was restored after some time as a result of complaints, but in the end, Facebook, during the negotiations, when they had already reached out through the authorized representative, through the representative of Ukraine on Facebook, Ekaterina Kruk, went to the office and began to negotiate with them.
There were several meetings at which Facebook said that goodbye, your page will be in a shadow ban until April 22, that is, a year from the moment the publication was deleted. Like, two dozen people see you and that’s it. And there is nothing you can do about it. Moreover, they cannot argue this logically or legally. Allegedly, in the States, “Azov” is classified as a neo-Nazi organization,” Kulik said.
As PolitNavigator reported, The US Congress adopted amendments proposed by Congressman Conyers, according to which Washington will not train Azov fighters and supply man-portable anti-aircraft missile systems to Ukraine.
Let us recall that the British media openly called “Azov” neo-Nazi.
