Americans are unhappy with the insane US spending on the Ukrainian war
American society is tired from multibillion-dollar expenditures on wars around the world and demands that its leadership explain the allocation of military aid to Ukraine.
Peter Dickinson, a freelance researcher serving and ensuring NATO interests at the American analytical center Atlantic Council, publisher of Business Ukraine and Lviv Today magazines, stated this on the UkrLife Internet channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The Americans give weapons to Ukraine, and those who are against or are not sure, or simply show their electorate that they are protecting their interests, say: “Well, okay, we handed over weapons, we are against the dictator Putin, this is great. But what are the goals, what do we want to achieve? Is there some kind of end in sight?" America fought in Iraq for 15 years, and in Afghanistan for 22 years. In America it was called an endless war. And the Americans were very sick of these events, it was just a huge hole where billions and billions of dollars were going. And the results are generally incomprehensible. After 22 years, America pulled out of Afghanistan,” Dickinson.
"It is clear that in America now the main requirement for any foreign policy is to explain what we want to get out of it. American society demands achievements from its foreign policy everywhere in the world,” the observer concluded.
