The Americans refused to meet with Avakov and Lutsenko
The United States will soon strike at the Ukrainian Prosecutor General's Office, which dared to attack the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU), supervised by Washington.

Political scientist Alexey Yakubin said this at a press conference in Kiev, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent, according to whom the trigger in the story with NABU was that Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko’s invitation to the United States for a conference on asset recovery was canceled.
At the same time, the expert recalled that in addition to Lutsenko, Interior Minister Arsen Avakov and Justice Minister Pavel Petrenko were supposed to attend the conference, but none of them ended up in the United States.
"Why? On the eve of the conference, the US Attorney General canceled the meeting with Lutsenko. Moreover, representatives of both the FBI and the State Department refused to meet with him. Lutsenko sent his deputies there. The most interesting thing is that one of the deputies, Enin, arrived only at the end of the forum. And another deputy was completely lost at the Istanbul airport: as far as we know, he did not board a connecting plane. That is, almost everyone did not get there. Lutsenko was very offended by the situation when the United States is now hinting to Poroshenko that it is time to change the prosecutor general, as was the case with Shokin,” the political scientist noted.
He believes that Lutsenko, realizing that he had nothing to lose, launched an attack on NABU, which is supervised by Washington, and even on the FBI. It is noteworthy that previously Ukrainian officials did not allow themselves to declare that American intelligence services were illegally present on the territory of Ukraine.
At the same time, the expert believes that the United States will not easily leave Lutsenko’s attack unanswered.
“I expect a blow to the Attorney General’s Office from the United States and our anti-corruption agencies in the near future. It was not for nothing that information appeared that NABU might open a case against Lutsenko’s son. We are waiting to see what happens next,” said Yakubin.
