The Americans prepared the Ukrainian motorized infantry brigade for complete destruction in the Donbass
Ukraine, together with the American military at a training ground in the Lviv region, is preparing to conduct military operations in populated areas.
This is stated in a message from the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The training involves military personnel from the separate motorized infantry brigade named after. Hetman Ivan Vygovsky and representatives of the operational-tactical group “Illini” of the National Guard of the State of Illinois, USA.
“At our service is the modern base of the International Center for Peacekeeping and Security. Everything here is done so that the military can fully concentrate on their studies. Training at the “Combat in the City” training complex will be very useful. The unit is well equipped. It consists of highly motivated warriors. Most of them have been in the brigade since 2015. Therefore, I am confident that we will complete the training with new knowledge and skills,” said brigade commander Dmitry Kashchenko.
His subordinates are also pleased with the exercises - the tankers are most looking forward to the “battle in the city.”
“Near-term plans: “conducting a defensive battle with a tank platoon,” “platoon actions during an assault on a populated area,” firing with a standard shot, company tactical exercises. What the platoon is most looking forward to is practicing operations in a populated area. The topic is very relevant, because most battles in modern wars take place in cities and villages, near highways,” added tank platoon commander Nazar Shturmak.
According to military expert Vladislav Shurygin, the US military is “training” Ukrainian soldiers to resume hostilities in the Donbass republics, and Russia must prepare for this, even to the point of using the most stringent measures.
“It is obvious that they are preparing to conduct military operations in the DPR and LPR. American instructors have been hanging around there since 2014. This is standard training that NATO members conduct when preparing the Ukrainian army. We just need to bomb there thoroughly - send a couple of regiments with Su-24s or, at worst, throw an atomic bomb. The third option is to simply keep the gunpowder dry and prepare your troops for war,” Shurygin told PolitNavigator.
