The Americans admitted that they found no traces of a chemical attack in Syria
Journalists from the One America News Network television channel visited the Syrian city of Duma and found no signs of a chemical attack.
It is reported TASS, referring to a report published on the channel’s website.
Journalist Pearson Sharp said that he visited Duma with colleagues and inspected the site where the alleged chemical attack took place, and also talked with local residents and visited the hospital where, as previously stated, people exposed to toxic substances were taken.
None of the local residents interviewed, Sharp reports, confirmed the version of the chemical attack. At the same time, he says that the journalists themselves chose the people to interview.
“When I asked them what kind of chemical attack they thought it was, they all told me that it was staged by the rebels who were holding the city at the time. They said it was a fabrication, a fake. Residents told me that terrorists fabricated a chemical attack in order to get Western states to strike the Syrian army so that it would fall behind them and they could escape. Many people have told this story,” said the author of the report.
Sharp also spoke with a local hospital employee who was on shift that day. The doctor said that at some point, “a group of strangers burst into the room, shouting that there was a chemical attack.”
“They brought with them the supposedly injured and began to pour water on them from a hose, the doctors got nervous, grabbed the hoses and began to help,” the American claims.
“The strangers who brought the victims recorded everything on tape,” the journalist explained. “When they washed everyone with water, they collected their things and left,” he added.
In turn, the head physician of the hospital claims that there were no deaths from exposure to toxic substances that day, and there were no signs of their use.
In addition, Sharp assures that local residents have expressed their support for Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.
