The Americans spilled the beans about their involvement in the Yugoslav massacre
The fighting in Yugoslavia was provoked by the United States and NATO for the sake of dismembering the country and was carried out with the direct military, material and expert support of Western intelligence services.
Official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova stated this at a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We were impressed by the revelations of the US Ambassador in Pristina, Philip Cosnett, in an interview with the Kosovo online publication Gazetablic on January 26 of this year about the actual involvement of the United States in military operations on the territory of Yugoslavia during the active phase of the conflict in the late 90s. It is impossible to interpret otherwise the passage that “American soldiers fought and died not for the sake of creating Greater Serbia and Greater Albania in the Balkans.”
Such passages lead to the logical conclusion that the bloody events in Kosovo were not the result of some combination of circumstances or “Belgrade politics,” as the West tried and is still trying to claim. They were provoked from outside for the sake of the illegal seizure of this part of the territory of Serbia - planned by Western intelligence services and implemented with their direct combat, material and expert support,” said a representative of the Foreign Ministry.
She emphasized that this statement can be regarded as important evidence against the myth of the “good intentions” of Washington and its allies in the Balkans.
“An obvious contradiction was also striking between the confessions of the American ambassador and the official Western version, according to which the United States and its NATO accomplices limited themselves exclusively to an air operation against Yugoslavia under the cynical name “Merciful Angel”, and the North Atlantic Alliance allegedly did not suffer any casualties at that time. However, it turns out that everything was different. We are waiting for explanations,” Zakharova added.
