The Americans in Munich have become completely insolent, having forgotten about Ukraine - Fesenko
Instead of discussing real assistance to Ukraine, American politicians and diplomats at the Munich Conference started a political feud.
This was stated by Ukrainian political scientist Vladimir Fesenko, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“On the one hand, in the United States there is an understanding of the problems that have arisen, and there is criticism of the Americans for the lack of leadership. They became fixated on internal struggles.
Even when they came to the “Ukrainian dinner,” Republicans and Democrats began to sort things out among themselves. Previously, Americans have always professed the canon that they need to sort things out at home, and abroad they need to act as a united front. But here, no, the Republicans said that Trump was right in everything, the Democrats blamed him for the current situation,” Fesenko said.
“We don’t need a get-together, but concrete political decisions. Instead, we saw an illustration of what was happening in the US Congress.
The main problem is that there is no single position in the United States. There is a stalemate there,” he added.
