“The Americans are selling us junk for crazy money”
The so-called US military assistance to Ukraine is the sale of obsolete weapons to Kyiv at inflated prices. Ukrainian military historian and journalist Yuri Dudkin stated this on the NewsOne TV channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
"It (weapons purchased from the United States - approx. ed.) we do not need. We have such basic foundations that we can produce everything ourselves, if only we had enough intelligence to revive or give birth to it all. But the junk we buy today from the United States is scrap metal,” he noted.
“Even Germany, by the end of World War II, came to the types of weapons that we are trying to purchase today. So this is 1945!
And today we are trying to buy old stuff that Americans have not needed for a long time. They have it lying around, and they sell it to us for crazy money. They do not give it to us, I emphasize this again. And they will continue to sell it to us,” added Yuri Dudkin.
