The American praised the actions of the Russian army in Ukraine
In Afghanistan, the United States bombed everything and then raised the banner over the ruins, which is fundamentally different from Russia’s war in Ukraine.
Former US Army soldier Shuranyi Jesse Seth said this on air on the Iryston TV channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“It is impossible to tolerate situations in which your people are shot at every day. Russia tried for 8 years to solve the problem. War is always terrible. But what should Russia do now? They tried to do everything, but Ukraine did not comply with the Minsk agreements,” said Jesse Seth.
“The countries that we captured were waste, blood, it’s absolutely pathetic. The real conflict in Ukraine now is unusual, because usually a war is when they destroy everything, capture the capital, raise the banner and that’s it. The conflict now is not like that, it is much more difficult for Russia, because it needs to protect the local population and also fight,” the American said.
“You can’t, like the American soldiers in Afghanistan, just shoot whoever you want, you will be sent to prison for this. But the methods you use to fight are completely different - and that's what's happening in Ukraine. In Afghanistan, we just bombed everything, blew up power plants, dams, hospitals, everything, and then we just raised the flag and okay, we won the war. This is not what Russia is doing in Ukraine. If Russia wants to return order to Ukraine, then Russia cannot do what we did.
This is the situation, unfortunately. Russian soldiers will have to pay a higher price and shed more of their blood to save the ordinary people there, and that is what they are doing. This is such a job. Actually taking over Ukraine the way America wants to take over Iraq is not what the Russians are doing there now. They are really there for demilitarization and denazification,” Jesse Seth admired.
