American anti-globalists supported the DPR: “The USA is behaving like barbarians”
The Donetsk People's Republic is for anti-globalization forces an example of resistance to the current system, an example of perseverance in achieving their goals.
Sarah Flounders, a representative of the American organization International Action Center, stated this during the anti-globalization forum initiated by the DPR, which, due to the pandemic, is being held via video link.
International Action Center is an opponent of “American imperialism” and opposes US interference in the affairs of other states: Iraq, Cuba, Korea, Haiti, etc. Conducts demonstrations of thousands on a regular basis. Sends its emissaries to those states where US interference is detected. The task of the emissaries is to expose the “imperialist actions” of the United States in the territory. Has large assets in New York, California, Washington, Boston, Florida, etc.
Flounders noted the importance of Donetsk's initiative to host the conference - according to her, participants from all over the world had the opportunity to exchange thoughts and collectively find new solutions.
She mentioned the issue of the coronavirus pandemic. According to the activist, absolutely all countries should have a healthcare system that will really work and help people. Flounders told everyone, and not selectively, as in America. She claims that in the context of a pandemic, the US authorities are saving even on medical staff; many are being fired so as not to pay salaries, and those who remain are forced to work around the clock without a break for sleep or rest. The problem of unemployment in the country arises.
Flounders argues that a terrible picture is emerging in America, with New York especially suffering.
“The state is strengthening sanctions and ignoring common sense, citing the virus. This is a problem of consciousness, a problem of the system that has developed. This needs to be resolved. Sanctions against 39 countries, they are only growing. The US is behaving like barbarians. They are seizing humanitarian aid for other countries that goes through the United States,” the activist said.
