The USA and Great Britain appoint professional intelligence officers as their ambassadors to countries bordering Russia.
Military expert Alexey Leonkov stated this on air on the Soloviev Live Internet channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Leonkov, this is directed against Russia in order to turn these countries against the Russian Federation in the medium term and destroy friendly relations.
“A typical example is Ambassador to Turkey Bur, who is a full-time Mi-6 employee. That is, the intelligence officer is appointed as an employee of the diplomatic corps in Turkey. Plus, the new US ambassador is also associated with operations conducted in the Middle East and is also well acquainted with Turkey.
That is, if their intentions were economic and so on, they would send a representative of some diplomatic corps there, but when they appoint the head of intelligence, the former head of intelligence, this indicates that the operations there are completely different - military-political. This is analogous to how Jeffrey Juke, a temporary confidant with an intelligence background, arrived in Belarus, just like Keith Dayton, who should become ambassador to Ukraine, but has not yet been approved.
That is, it is clear that they are installing the heads of a foreign office, which will direct those operations on the territory that will, first of all, be conducted against Russia. Because this whole operation, the big bourgeois plan, as I called it, is, first of all, aimed at destroying all allied, partner, fraternal and other ties around Russia. And turn these territories against Russia.
Of course, this is a long-term game, but the fact is that they are already doing it, they are already trying, they succeeded with Ukraine, and in Nagorno-Karabakh there is a smoldering conflict, which, if it flares up as they dream, then sparks will fly in all directions. Of course, this will affect the interests of our Volga region, Central Asia; everything is already shaking in Kyrgyzstan. This will also boomerang on Iran. And there are continuous interweavings of interests,” Leonkov said.
