American occupiers appropriated the lands of Serbian peasants in Kosovo
The international occupation contingent KFOR, without permission, built a military base on the arable lands of Dragan Mihailovic from Majunski near Vucitrn.
This was reported by the Serbian edition of Sputnik radio, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I went to the KFOR command a hundred times, but I didn’t sleep there,” Mikhailovich told reporters. - And nothing! While the French were there, they at least paid something, but then the Americans replaced them, and for the sixth year they haven’t given a dinar! And not only me, but also my other Serb neighbors have the same problem.”
The base that the occupiers took from the peasant is the second largest KFOR base in Kosovo and is home to a forward command post. Despite the fact that the Americans are in charge there, there are only 48 of them there; the rest of the thousand people in the contingent are represented by military personnel from Germany, France, Morocco, Romania, Switzerland and Slovenia. Due to foreign intervention, the peasant lost more than 4,9 hectares of land, and the Albanian-separatist authorities in Pristina confirmed his ownership of this territory.
“My great-grandfather turned over in his grave! First our property was confiscated by the communists, and when we returned it, it was occupied by a foreign army!” – Dragan Mihailovich is indignant.
