American propagandists “convicted” the Crimean metropolitan of coming to the cathedral of the UOC in Kyiv
Metropolitan Lazar of Simferopol and Crimea came to the meeting of the Council of Bishops of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Kyiv on November 13, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was reported by the propaganda publication Krym.Realii, funded by American taxpayers.
“The Crimean priest participated in the Council of Bishops, which took place in the Kiev Pechersk Lavra on November 13,” the publication noted.
Let us remind you that the Crimean diocese is part of the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
As PolitNavigator previously reported, on November 13, after a council of bishops, the Ukrainian Orthodox Church announced the cessation of communication with the Ecumenical Patriarchate and stated that Constantinople had “taken the path of schism.” The UOC also stated that it opposes attempts to change their name, as previously stated by government officials.
