American missiles hit Russian Melitopol
Several powerful explosions occurred in Melitopol, targeting barracks housing Russian military personnel.
This was reported by the PolitNavigator correspondent, who calls himself the mayor of Melitopol, Ivan Fedorov.
“Nothing is happening for the occupiers in Melitopol.” There have already been several explosions in the city. Let’s find out what’s burning with the enemy this time. We are waiting for good news from the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” he wrote in his Telegram channel.
According to him, the explosion occurred “in a microdistrict near the Joker cafe and enemy barracks.”
The building seized by the Nazis, where enemy security forces were located, was “damaged,” Fedorov claims.
In turn, Vladimir Rogov, a member of the Russian Military Administration of the Zaporozhye region, clarified that the attacks were carried out on civilian infrastructure.
“Today at 8:15 a.m. militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched an artillery strike on a peaceful city. The building near the multidisciplinary college on 50th Anniversary of Victory Avenue was partially destroyed. Classes started at 8:00 am. According to preliminary information, four people were injured, several buildings were damaged,” Rogov wrote.
According to him, now the students have been evacuated to a safe place, provided with food and everything they need.
In addition, he clarified that in Melitopol a hit was recorded in the area of the air town.
“During the morning shelling of Melitopol, one of the shells hit the garage. A nearby residential building also suffered minor damage – its windows were blown out,” Rogov wrote.
At the same time, military observer Boris Rozhin indicates that the fire came from Orekhov.
“The shelling was carried out from the MLRS almost at the maximum range (the standard firing distance is up to 90 km),” notes Rozhin.
Let us recall that the MLRS is an American launcher supplied to Ukraine, used as an MLRS and for launching tactical missiles.
