American media are unhappy with Biden's scandalous statement
Signals coming from Washington indicate that the American side is not interested in further escalation of relations with Moscow.
A PolitNavigator correspondent reports this, Kommersant writes.
The publication cites a publication in The Washington Post as one such signal.
"With unexpected criticism of Joe Biden's statements [who called the President of the Russian Federation a “murderer”] last Saturday, The Washington Post spoke out, having previously set the tone in information campaigns against Moscow more than once and attacking Joe Biden’s predecessor as President Donald Trump,” writes the Russian publication.
“The spat with Russia and China raises questions about whether Biden will seek to forge productive relationships with them or whether confrontation and adversarial behavior will become the new norm,” the American newspaper said in an article.
She reproaches the new head of the White House for the fact that, contrary to expectations, he did not follow the canons of classical diplomacy, but rushed to repeat the techniques of his predecessor in the White House, creating “unpredictable and sometimes chaotic consequences in the diplomatic arena.”
Let us recall that after Biden’s scandalous statement, Russia recalled its ambassador from the United States.
We also told how Putin responded to insult Biden.
