American journalists who came to film the Ukrainian “peremogs” turned out to be witnesses to the shameful flight of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This unpleasant fact turned out to be a consequence of inconsistency between different units of the Ukrainian army, when the advancing units were not provided with fire support.

Deputy Commander of the DPR Operational Command Eduard Basurin stated this at a briefing today, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“It is important to note that large losses among Ukrainian military personnel are caused not only by the illiterate actions of commanders, but also by the lack of mutual support between units. This is the second clear example of the lack of mutual revenue. The first occurred last week, when militants of the DUK “Right Sector” attempted in two groups to take over the forward positions of the NM, while units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces refused to provide them with fire support. The second one was yesterday. This time, the nationalists did not support the Ukrainian Armed Forces unit with fire, which is why there are such significant losses in the Ukrainian army. I note that these events developed in front of the eyes of American journalists, who personally verified the “strength” and “invincibility” of the Ukrainian army,” he said.
In addition, Basurin once again drew attention to the staged nature of such filming for foreign media.
“We have information that cannot but cause concern. Namely, the planned visit to entry-exit checkpoints on the demarcation line between the parties by members of various European public organizations in the period from August 22 to 23 without the presence of representatives of the OSCE and the ICRC. The ATO command has more than once been caught preparing staged filming and generating false evidence to accuse the DPR of violating the ceasefire. In this regard, there is a high probability that the Ukrainian military command will use this visit for their own insidious purposes,” Basurin said.
