American troops transferred ISIS fighters to their base in Hasakah
The US military delivered militants of the Islamic State (IS, a terrorist organization banned in Russia) to its base in the Syrian province of Hasakah.
The US military transferred about 40 ISIS terrorists to its base from the Al-Hol prison, controlled by Kurdish militants of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF). The news agency reports this SANA with reference to its sources.
Three American helicopters carrying terrorists landed on Tuesday at a base near the village of Al-Shaddadi. Local sources report that three US Air Force combat helicopters accompanied the group of aircraft.
According to information available to journalists, the transferred militants took part in hostilities against government forces near Deir ez-Zor.
This is not the first time US troops have deployed radical elements to eastern Syria. Sources report that Islamists are being trained at US military bases and are beginning to work in the interests of the American command. Together with Kurdish militants, they smuggle Syrian oil, which is taken out of the country and sold under the guise of Iraqi oil. Therefore, the return of Syria to peaceful life is unprofitable for Washington.
The Americans claim that they are protecting Syrian fields from IS militants, who were defeated back in 2017 by Syrian government forces with the participation of Wagner PMC. In fact, US military personnel are transferring Islamists to the east of the country for the sake of their energy interests and creating an unstable situation in the region.
