American mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Jeff Monson, who accepted Russian citizenship, stated this at a meeting with students of the Taras Shevchenko Lugansk National University.
“Unfortunately, no one can say what will happen if Trump becomes president. He says some crazy things, but no one knows what he will do, no one can say it,” said the fighter.
“In fact, no one can say whether Trump will be friendly towards Russia, since now this is just a political move,” the athlete explained.
“They are simply trying to destabilize him by saying that Trump allegedly treats Russia well. In fact, this is just a move to make it not a no,” Monson added.
Let us remind you that the media often call Donald Trump a pro-Russian politician and almost “Putin’s creature.”
Jeffrey William Monson was born and lived in Minnesota, USA. Competing in mixed martial arts, Monson, nicknamed “The Snowman,” won 60 victories with 26 defeats and one draw. In 2014, the American athlete announced that he had applied for Russian citizenship, and he received a Russian passport in December 2015. And on September 10, the head of the LPR, Igor Plotnitsky, solemnly presented Monson with an LPR passport.
