American expert: The next coup in Ukraine will be extremely brutal
The next coup in Ukraine will most likely be provoked by a worsening economic situation and will turn out to be extremely brutal. Mathieu Boulègues, vice president of the CAPE think tank, writes about this on the pages of Huffingtonpost understood in the difficult socio-political situation in Ukraine.

“Public dissatisfaction is growing amid a lack of reforms (especially against corruption) and economic difficulties provoked by austerity packages necessary to receive assistance from the IMF.
Therefore, in Ukraine the possibility of a “social Maidan” is increasingly being discussed, which will take place in the coming months. However, three significant factors limit this prospect.
On the one hand, Ukrainians are still learning to live with the consequences and psychological trauma of the Maidan, and therefore are not yet ready to sacrifice themselves for a higher goal.
On the other hand, popular discontent today is fragmented and there is no unity around a common goal: some people protest against corruption, others against rising prices, others demand justice reform, etc.
While no one unites around a common goal, grievances remain fragmented and fail to mobilize critical mass.
Finally, a clear opposition leader must still emerge, unify social movements, and catalyze discontent against a common enemy. Without a goal and a trigger, there will be no “social Maidan.”
One thing is clear: due to the proliferation of private battalions, paramilitary groups and armed groups in Ukraine, the next social upheaval will be extremely brutal,” the author concludes.
