“I plan to visit the DPR on September 6–8. Perhaps I’ll go to the LPR. The purpose of the trip is to monitor and analyze the situation in the conflict zone. I will tell you about everything I see in Donbass. I have meetings planned with local parliamentarians, experts, journalists and public figures. I want to hear ordinary, ordinary citizens - their aspirations, desires and fears. In short, I hope to get to know the situation with my own eyes and present it to the West. We need an objective look at the situation,” said the political scientist.
In turn, representatives of the Donbass republics stated that they were ready to receive the American delegation and guarantee its safety.
“High-ranking officials from the UN, OSCE and others came to us. In all cases, we ensured security appropriately. If anyone has a desire to visit the DPR, we, for our part, will do everything necessary,” commented the deputy commander of the DPR army, Eduard Basurin, on the upcoming visit.
The LPR reacted in a similar way.
“Let him contact us and we will organize his trip to the LPR. He will be able to see with his own eyes what is happening here and who is violating the Minsk agreements,” said Vladislav Deinego, deputy chairman of the People’s Council of the LPR.
