American congressman in Kyiv: Russia is an enemy, we will support Ukraine
Congressman from Texas William Hurd today in Kyiv at the Yalta European Strategy conference proposed a “simple way” to end the war in Donbass.

“In Ukraine, people frown upon the use of the term “separatists.” In the east of the country there is no fight against separatists. There is a struggle there with another country that has invaded independent Ukraine. The solution is simple. Vladimir Putin must withdraw his tanks and all Russian military personnel from Donbass and get out. The UN doesn’t even need to be involved,” Hurd said.
As for the Americans, according to the congressman, they should give “asymmetrical answers,” the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The Russians are not our allies, they are our opponents. We must be prepared to give asymmetrical responses in this war. One way is to continue to support our ally and friend Ukraine,” Hurd said.
