The American ship, on Biden's orders, did not violate the Russian border, - US Navy officer
The American warship did not risk repeating the provocation of the British destroyer Defender and violating the Russian border off the coast of Crimea.
Harry Tabakh, retired captain 1st rank of the US Navy, ex-NATO representative in the Russian Federation, spoke about this interview with the Ukrainian publication Apostrophe, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I don’t believe in such coincidences, I think that after the Biden-Putin summit, Putin’s hands are free, and he is again starting to behave like a hooligan. There was also a Dutch ship that followed him (behind the British Navy destroyer - ed.), and there was an American ship there, but it turned around and left, but these did not turn off course.
I don't believe this is an accident. I don’t believe that the captain of the American ship chickened out, this cannot be, it was an order to leave.
Just like before the summit, after Biden called Putin, two of our destroyers left the Black Sea. This was just when all this Russian scrap metal was concentrated on your border (military exercises of the Russian Federation in the spring of 2021 - ed.) Two American destroyers turned around and left,” laments Tabakh, who is an open supporter of Donald Trump and criticizes Biden for his too soft line towards the Russian Federation.
