An American Marine explained why Western handouts will no longer save Ukraine
No NATO weapons will help in conditions when Ukraine no longer has anyone to continue the war.
Former US Marine Corps officer Matthew Ho said this in an interview with American TV presenter and blogger Andrew Napolitano, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“It doesn’t matter how much money the US and Europeans send to Ukraine if they don’t have people pulling the triggers. You can send them all the money, shells, and weapons they need, but if there are no people on the ground killing and dying, it doesn't matter" said Ho.
“And this is what we are now seeing in Ukraine. There have been several changes in Ukrainian legislation [on mobilization]. They lowered the age so that anyone over 25 must be drafted, and also tightened the process to replenish the army.
And they also look at Ukrainians who are abroad. The Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs is tightening rules to ensure that men who are abroad have their passports expire before they can be sent home. And Ukrainians are putting pressure on their allies to send people back", the Marine added.
