American political scientist: We are cowardly and shamefully leaking Ukraine to Putin
Kyiv, March 19 (PolitNavigator, Vladimir Raichenko) – Washington and Brussels are afraid of Russia, and therefore can only help Ukraine with demagoguery.
Stephen Blenk, a senior fellow at the American Foreign Policy Council, writes about this in an article for the Ukrainian Week magazine, according to whom “Washington and European capitals are frozen in fear, complacency and unwillingness to take Russia and its threats seriously.”

“The Russians say that fear has big eyes,” Blenk reminds us of a famous saying. – This is fair, perhaps, only when the potential victim is short-sighted and cowardly. Moscow is already preparing for a new offensive to seize even more Ukrainian lands, and all we can offer in response is demagoguery and more and more signals of a lack of unity and leadership in the EU. We can call our previous response to events politics, but it would be more accurate to say that it is a cowardly and shameful refusal of politics and strategy. And it is becoming more and more expensive, turning into an inevitable large-scale crisis, which, sooner rather than later, will hit not only Ukraine, but also Europe, and perhaps the United States.”
