American professor: I don’t know how we can defeat Russia
The Russian government must be judged for launching a military defense in Ukraine and assistance to Syria, but the factor that the Russian Federation has nuclear weapons is hampering it.
Michael Khodarkovsky, a history professor at St. Loyola University of Chicago, stated this during the “Kyiv security forum,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“How to bring Putin and his entourage to justice? Maybe something like holding a new Nuremberg trial? Because we see that they are committing war crimes every day in Ukraine just like they did in Syria.
This is a country that rattles nuclear weapons, but now I don’t have an answer to this question, now it’s a dilemma. If Russia did not have nuclear weapons, it would be much easier to deal with it. But given the presence of nuclear weapons, this is much more problematic,” said the American historian.
