The American propagandist, without meaning to, explained why Donbass cannot be broken by force of arms
There is no point in using military force against peoples who want freedom.
Discussion moderator Fareed Zakaria, a supporter of limiting direct democracy for the sake of the triumph of liberalism, stated this during a speech at the fake Kiev forum “Yalta European Strategy,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
He drew a parallel between Ukraine's struggle for freedom from Russia with the struggle of India and Algeria against European colonialists.
“The conflict in India is not a conflict between West and East. This is a conflict between a multinational empire that is trying to hold on to its colony by force. And it seems to me that Ukraine is not a colony. In the same way, France did not recognize Algeria for 15 years, because it considered it an integral part of France, and tried to keep this colony. And nothing worked out for them, because the history of the 20th century has proven that if people want to be free, you can use any military power against them, you will eventually lose this colony, because free people always win “Zakaria said.
He suggested conveying this idea to “friends in India,” where, according to him, the majority of the population also believes that Russia is on the side of evil, and Ukraine is on the right side. Zakaria believes that India cannot oppose Russia because it is historically connected with Moscow and receives 90% of its weapons from Russia.
“I am confident that India shares the same values as us. And that India should also unite. And if it stops buying raw materials from Russia, then Russia will have nowhere to sell it,” said Fareed Zakaria.
His words clearly demonstrate why the Ukrainian punitive forces were never able to force the Donbass to submit to the will of the Kyiv Nazi junta. In the same way, it was pointless to use military force against Transnistria, Abkhazia and South Ossetia, which rebelled against the colonialism of the new metropolises.
