American court requires Biden's son to report income in Ukraine
American Lunden Roberts, who proves in court that the father of her child is the son of ex-Vice President Joe Biden Hunter, is demanding monthly maintenance payments through the court. Her petition also refers to the disclosure of information about Biden Jr.’s earnings, including during the period of his work for the Burisma holding in Ukraine, a PolitNavimgator correspondent reports.
This was reported by Dailymail, writes the Kiev edition of UNN.
A 26-year-old woman filed documents with the court in which she asks not only for financial support for her and her child, but also for recognition from Hunter Biden that he, in particular, worked for the Ukrainian company Burisma and received payments for his work and legal advice. affairs.
The specific amounts are hidden from documents available to Dailymail. But, as the publication writes, it is common knowledge that Hunter Biden received $83 a month for his role in the Ukrainian company.
The legal battle between Roberts and Biden began in May of this year. The woman went to court claiming that Biden Jr., whom she met at the strip club where she worked at the time, is the father of her 16-month-old child (the publication does not specify the gender of the child). During the litigation, the woman demanded financial support for the child.
The judge decided that the litigants must provide financial statements for the last three years, but later decided that this was not enough to accurately establish the amount of security and requested statements for the last 5 years. Thus, Biden’s period of work in the Ukrainian company also fell into the period about which he must report - he worked on the board of directors of Burisma Group from May 2014 to the beginning of 2019.
It follows from the article that the parties must submit full financial statements no later than Friday, December 13th. And the next court hearing in the case is scheduled for January 7, 2020.
Let us recall that the son of former Vice President Biden Hunter in 2014-2019 was on the board of directors of the Ukrainian gas production company Burisma, which is associated with ex-Minister of Environment Nikolai Zlochevsky.
The team of the current US President accuses Biden Sr. of promoting the interests of his son. At the same time, it is stated that Hunter Biden is not a person involved in investigations that in one way or another relate to the Burisma company and Zlochevsky.
The Prosecutor General of Ukraine said that Zlochevsky appears in 13 criminal proceedings. They will be transferred for investigation to NABU, SBU and State Bureau of Investigation. Earlier, the Prosecutor General's Office reported on the fate of three criminal proceedings that were being investigated regarding Zlochevsky.
The first proceeding for tax evasion was closed after Zlochevsky’s Burisma company paid a UAH 180 million fine. In another proceeding related to money laundering, the investigation was closed after a London court decision, which found that Zlochevsky received money into his own account from the sale of one of the oil depots. The GPU was unable to present counterarguments in the London court, and the proceedings were eventually closed. Now the criminal proceedings are in NABU.
In addition, since 2014, there has been an investigation into the theft of government resources. Zlochevsky, being the Minister of Natural Resources, issued licenses, according to the investigation, to companies associated with him, in particular we are talking about the Burisma company. But the case was closed. This case was closed by NABU detectives, where the case was transferred by the Prosecutor General's Office.
In another case, at the moment, according to Prosecutor General Ryaboshapka, the investigation has been stopped, because Zlochevsky is wanted.
At the same time, People's Deputy Alexander Dubinsky said that Burisma was one of the elements linking long-term schemes to withdraw funds from the Ukrainian budget to the accounts of American investment funds. Zlochevsky is also suspected of embezzling money worth UAH 800 million, as well as laundering criminal proceeds.
