American weapons will be in the hands of the LDPR in a week
The main reason why the United States has long refused to provide lethal weapons to Ukraine is the threat of their seizure or sale to the LDPR military, as has happened many times before in the Donbass.
This opinion was expressed to a PolitNavigator correspondent by member of the People’s Council of the DPR Vladislav Berdichevsky.

“Conflicting statements by the US State Department, American politicians, and Special Representative Volcker regarding arms supplies to Ukraine indicate that, in fact, the Americans would sell weapons to the Kiev natives, but they fear that in a week they will end up in the units of the DPR and LPR. Or maybe it will even be sent by brave, disinterested Ukrainian generals to their “brothers” in ISIS,” the deputy said.
His opinion is shared by political scientist Vladimir Kornilov.
“We must not forget that statements about the theoretical possibility of supplying lethal weapons to Ukraine were made by many US officials and were even proposed as bills.
But even if Obama did not take such a step, I doubt that Trump will decide to do so. And the point is not even that this will cause increased tension in relations with Russia. The fact is that in Washington they understand very well where these weapons may end up - everyone knows how tanks and ammunition are “written off” in Ukraine,” the expert noted.
